Contrary To The Stock Count, All Of The New Songs From BTS’ Album ‘Proof’ Made High-Ranking Debuts On Spotify’s Daily Global Top 200 Chart On The First Day Of Release.
BTS ( Bangtan Boys ) has officially made a comeback carrying the anthology album “Proof” on June 10. Anticipation was given from the world public considering this was Jungkook cs’ first comeback for 2022.
Plus, BTS is also celebrating 9 years of debut in the K-Pop industry. However, this excessive expectation did not help lift HYBE’s share price in the capital market.
Viewed on Monday (13/6) at 11:00 KST, HYBE shares entered a trading price of 203 thousand won. This decline fell sharply around 9.17 percent or if the currency was reduced by 20,500 won per share.
On the other hand in contrast to the stock count, all new songs from the album “Proof” made their high-ranking debut on Spotify’s daily Global Top 200 chart on the first day of release. Many of the older songs featured on the album also made it to the charts.
The title song “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” successfully debuted at No. 3 on the daily global chart after racking up 7,178,605 streams on just the first day. This record breaks BTS’s record for the highest number of first-day streams of any Korean-language song released on Spotify.
Another achievement that is quite amazing is obtained from the sale of the album “Proof”. According to Hanteo Chart as of 9 p.m. KST on the same day, BTS has sold over 2.15 million copies.
The most notable of this achievement is that it is not far from BTS’ second highest first-week sales record of 2.27 million copies, which they achieved with their latest album “BE (Deluxe Edition)”.
Meanwhile, within hours of its release, both the album and the song soared to the top of iTunes charts in many countries around the world. At approximately 08:00 KST on June 11, “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” has reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in at least 97 different regions, including the United States, Canada, Australia, France, Spain, Germany, and Denmark.
