KBS is increasingly promoting ahead of the premiere of ” If You Wish Upon Me “. One of them is by releasing a photo of the scene of Ji Chang Wook who plays Yoon Gyeo Re.
Yoon Gyeo Re is described as a man who has gone through many hardships due to living in orphanages, juvenile detention centers and prisons. She struggles to have a normal life and starts volunteering at a hospital.
There, she meets volunteer leader Kang Tae Sik ( Sung Dong Il ) and nurse Seo Yeon Joo ( Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung ). They finally work together to fulfill the last wishes of those who are about to die.
The newly released stills show the contrasting portraits of Yoon Gyeo Re in various situations. In one photo, he is seen wearing an old track suit combined with a white T-shirt.
Yoon Gyeo Re also seemed to be hugging his suitcase tightly while showing a wary look as if he was worried that it would be stolen by someone else. But in another photo, he is exuding a bright expression with a sweet smile on his face.
In the next portrait, Yoon Gyeo Re looks dashing in a black suit combined with a white shirt. He had a completely different vibe from before as he seemed more formidable and charismatic.
He even seemed to knock on the hood of a car and give some money to an unknown person. This photo finally raises questions about his background which is quite mysterious.
Along with the release of the photo of the scene, the production team of “If You Wish Upon Me” also praised Ji Chang Wook’s acting details. According to them, Ji Chang Wook really pays attention to his fashion style in this drama.
The production team stated, “Ji Chang Wook also paid a lot of attention to style in order to highlight the reality of Yoon Gyeo Re. He will carefully portray his character’s clothes that change from time to time depending on the situation as well as his complex and subtle emotions.”
They also asked viewers to look forward to the actor’s outstanding charm when playing the role of Yoon Gyeo Re. “Please look forward to Ji Chang Wook’s versatile charm that will be revealed in the broadcast,” concluded the production team.
Meanwhile, “If You Wish Upon Me” is prepared to replace the broadcast slot of ” Jinxed at First ” on KBS Wednesday – Thursday night. The plan, this drama will start airing on August 10.
