During A Recent Interview, Kang Dong Won Also Shared His Thoughts About IU, Who He Co-Starred With In The Movie ‘Broker’. Here’s The Full Narrative.
Recently, Kang Dong Won had an interview with news outlet Wikitree to talk about his film ” Broker “. He discussed various interesting things, including his experience working with IU .
First of all, Kang Dong Won revealed the pleasant atmosphere on the set of “Broker”. He said, “We went to the countryside to shoot. It made the shooting atmosphere much more enjoyable because we were out of town.”
“I think it helped me to focus more on filming and my character as well. I liked the fact that we were the only (team) filming there.”
Kang Dong Won then talked about his experience working with IU which was very enjoyable. He even predicts that IU’s future as an actress will be very bright because of her capable acting skills.
She explained, “I’m sure everyone already knows, but her acting is amazing. I think her future as an actress will be very bright.”
“I feel he will be able to display any character given to him. He will play all his roles in the future very well,” he said.
Meanwhile, “Broker” is a film about the unexpected journey of those involved with the “baby box”. The crib is a small space, where parents can leave their baby anonymously.
Sang Hyun ( Song Kang Ho ) finds new parents for the baby left in the box and makes a deal with them. He calls himself an intermediary with good intentions and he cooperates with Dong Soo (Kang Dong Won) in this endeavor.
They then get involved with So Young (IU), a young woman who places her baby in the box. But she finally decided to go back for the baby.
“Broker” is the first Korean film directed by Hirokazu Koreeda, to win the Palme d’Or, Cannes’ highest award for ” Shopligters ” (2018) and the Jury Prize for ” Like Father, Like Son ” (2013) at the Cannes Film Festival.
