This is a listing of nations that have participated inside the Commonwealth Games among 1930 and 2018. Participation in the Games is restricted to member states of the Commonwealth of Nations and their territories. Although there are 54 contributors of the Commonwealth of Nations, 72 teams currently take part in the Commonwealth Games as a number of based territories compete below their own flags.
