Deep Studio Entertainment, a deep-fake technology company and record label, will launch a five-member male idol group called SUPERKIND with an AI concept similar to what SM girl group aespa has seen.
In particular, only four members of SUPERKIND are actually human, while member Sae Jin is a virtual character created by AI technology. SUPERKIND’s debut teaser photo shows that Sae Jin will be the center of the group.
Sae Jin’s individual debut trailer quickly became a hot topic and currently has more than half a million views on YouTube. The eye-catching and flawless visual of the AI idol with pink hair is drawing praise from fans as he is said to be similar to the famous boy group members such as NCT ‘s Jaehyun , TXT ‘s Soobin , ENHYPEN’s Jake , and others.
The company said, “This new approach does not follow the common path of K-pop groups. We can guarantee that the group will achieve a different position and strengthen their global fandom in the future.”
