PD Na Young Seok’s program, ” The Game Caterers ” Season 2 with HYBE artists aired last weekend. Among the fun of the HYBE family playing outdoor games, many funny moments were caught on camera.
One of the funniest moments in “The Game Caterers 2” was when Hong Eunchae LE SSERAFIM and Seungkwan SEVENTEEN (II) chatted. While gathering in the middle of the field, Seungkwan realized Hong Eunchae must be very young so he started asking questions.
“How old were you when ‘Pretty U’ was released?” asked Seungkwan. “At that time I was 10 years old,” replied Eunchae.
When SEVENTEEN’s song “Pretty U” was released in 2016, Eunchae who was born in 2006 was 10 years old. The pause just before Eunchae’s answer made Seungkwan and Fromis_9 members , Saerom laugh. Seungkwan himself was born in 1998 and Saerom 1997, meaning they are almost 10 years adrift with Eunchae.
“You’re line 06? How does it feel? Wait, you don’t have to answer it,” said Seungkwan.
The moment Seungkwan and Hong Eunchae was then busy talking about fans on social media. Fans were exasperated by Seungkwan’s reaction, realizing that there is a huge age difference between idols today. But there are other fans who remind that Seungkwan was also a teenager when SEVENTEEN promoted “Pretty U”.
