During Their Comeback Promotions, WINNER Had Previously Done A Dance Challenge With Several Girls Such As StayC, Ningning Aespa, Miyeon (G)I-DLE, Sunmi And Dancer Aiki.
WINNER (II) was a guest star on the Dingo Music channel “Tipsy Live 2” which was released on Monday (23/8). In that episode, Kang Seung Yoon cs highlighted the many dance challenges that have emerged in the K-Pop music industry today.
Kang Seung Yoon said, “Music shows have become slaves to challenges. All music shows that we promote are like that.” Lee Seung Hoon then shared his opinion about the dance challenge that was used as a place for flirting .
“I thought doing the challenge was just an excuse, but when doing the challenge, we could feel the spark between each other,” said Lee Seung Hoon. Kang Seung Yoon who agreed replied, “That’s right. There are things like that.”
Lee Seung Hoon then revealed his own experience when doing the dance challenge. “Sometimes I feel it. When we make eye contact, I think I feel some sparks,” said Lee Seung Hoon.
Other WINNER members also wondered who Lee Seung Hoon felt those sparks of romance. “I don’t know if I’m the only person who feels that. I think I felt a spark with some people,” replied the idol.
WINNER’s comments about this dance challenge unexpectedly sparked controversy. Many think that not all K-Pop dance challenges are done for flirting because there are also singers or idols who are serious about doing the challenge.
“Some singers do it (challenges) with a good heart. Did they do something wrong?” wrote one netizen. “Wow. Now all the girls who do a dance challenge with WINNER will be labeled ‘flirting’,” added another.
“If you don’t want the challenge, why? Just say no. The point is the challenge is to promote each other, so don’t harass him after you’ve done it,” added another. “Yes, there is always something wrong when an idol is drunk on a broadcast,” concluded another.
Meanwhile, WINNER previously did a dance challenge with several girls such as StayC , Ningning aespa , Miyeon (G)I-DLE , Sunmi and dancer Aiki . They also recently promoted a comeback with the title song “I LOVE U”.
