The Members Of LE SSERAFIM Were Determined Fairly Quickly. In An Interview With Forbes, They Revealed That Six Of Them Were Selected To Become Members Only In January This Year.
LE SSERAFIM is one of the most popular rookies in 2022 with two of the six members being former IZ*ONE members . Who would have thought, Huh Yunjin and Kazuha were almost not members of LE SSERAFIM, and that was revealed by them through a recent interview.
Unlike most K-Pop groups, the members of LE SSERAFIM were determined fairly quickly. In an interview with Forbes, they revealed that six of them were selected to become members only in January this year. LE SSERAFIM debuted with “FEARLESS” four months later in May. “The lineup was finalized around January 2022 when I was the last member to join LE SSERAFIM,” said Hong Eunchae .
The members were searched quickly too. According to Yunjin, he will return to the United States if he does not accept offers from Source Music and HYBE. “I originally planned to study music in America and as fate would have it, I was given the opportunity to join LE SSERAFIM,” said Yunjin.
The idol grew up in the United States and moved to South Korea as a teenager to become a K-Pop trainee. He is one of the most famous PLEDIS Entertainment trainees, having stayed there even after his stint on ” Produce 48 ” ended.
After training for four years without any signs of debuting, joining LE SSERAFIM was a great opportunity for him. He said, “I took the opportunity without hesitation and this all makes the team even more special to me.”
Kazuha is another member who could do something completely different with her life if she didn’t accept the offer to become a K-Pop idol. As a professional ballet dancer who has even danced at the Dutch National Ballet Academy, she could have had a successful career abroad. However, Kazuha wants to experience new things, thus bringing her into the world of K-Pop.
“I love ballet, but I want to take risks on different things for the rest of my life. I’m very lucky to have the opportunity and it feels like fate that I came here to join the team,” said Kazuha.
